When developing an advertisement, it is imperative
that you understand why you're doing it and what its
purpose is to serve. Sure, its purpose is to sell more product,
but what sort of product and why that product? How does the
sale of that particular product fit into your marketing strategy?
Was it bulk-purchased specifically for a promotion, or is it old
stock that needs to be cleared? And... will the market be receptive
to that product at this point in time?
Don't take pot-shots. Plan your advertising
in advance to ensure it forms a strategic part of your overall marketing
strategy and that, when executed, it delivers a specific outcome.

to dispel any doubts about the product without
overpowering the reader.

Doctors on the move.
Rather than jumping straight into the 'technicalities'
of the product, we took the approach of
high-lighting the obvious benefit to the
Doctors, which is to 'make their life easier'.

Bridgestone is
winning motorcycle championships the world
over with its high performance range of

to form the basis of this advertisement,
utilising a montage of world class riders
including US champion Ricky Carmichael and
Australia's own Chad Reed.

For this reason, the advertisement
focusses heavily on the well-known riders who use the products.

testing procedures they are put through. In short, SuperPro
needed to convey in no uncertain terms that they really do
'Push every limit'.

was already a strong product
